It has been a hive of pre-trip activity at Sam’s place since Friday night, Sam and family arrived back from 5 days in Croatia, Steve turned up on his bike from Germany, and we picked Amand up Saturday arvo from Vienna airport.
So after 3 years in the making the crew is FINALLY together, and we will be on the road in 5 days! Needless to say we’re all pretty stoked about that. Each of us at random moments have had ridiculous grins on our faces since we’ve been together 🙂
Amand & Steve have been flat-out with service work on the bikes since Saturday evening (a great jet lag cure), and Sam has been a guiding hand. We’ve stripped the bikes right down to the heart of the motor, a massive learning curve for Amand & Steve, there is more grease under our finger nails of our soft office hands than ever before!
So we’ve basically been focused on bikes, beer and food.
