“Rusty”
We felt it is important to pay homage to Russ. He is certainly a part of the GAS Adventures family. He a played a role in getting us to dream big and go big.
Russ is Steve’s younger brother and he joined the idea back in 2015 after Steve told him of our plans. He is a huge lover of big challenges and adventures and wanted to be part of Queenstown to Capetown, as it was called at the time.
Russ helped to conceptualise such a grand adventure – he is not scared to dream big and get amongst it! He also joined Amand and Steve on the 10-day ride around the South Island of New Zealand, where the next mission around the Black Sea was cemented.
Due to ski and fly missions in New Zealand, sadly Russ couldn’t join us on our Black Sea adventure, but we hope and expect he’ll be part of the fun at some stage again!
