GAS is such a fantastic acronym for our adventures, but what does Grit and Sprit mean?
GRIT (grit) English noun
- abrasive particles or granules, as of sand or other small, coarse impurities found in the air, food, water, etc. (and most importantly on dirt roads)
- firmness of character; indomitable spirit; pluck:
SPRIT (ʃprɪt) German masculine noun
- Petrol, gas, juice (coll)
- Spirits, booze (coll.)
For any adventure you need grit and spirit; for this adventure we need some grit roads and some juice to get us there and back; and it’s great to share a drink with good mates after a day of great adventure!
